WELCOME TO MY GARDEN!
Known widely for her delectable dishes and warm bedside manner, Trish is the personification of soup. Trish’s ingredients came to a boil in February 2019 when, in the midst of a global pandemic, the world shut down. As a healthcare professional with almost two decades of experience, Trish was poised on the frontlines; aiding the country’s most vulnerable populations. At home, however, the pandemic stirred the pot by introducing a new and exciting challenge: home schooling her 5 school-aged children. Trish leaned on what she’d learned about different cultures and foods during her travels to supplement her children’s learning. Originally a fun science project for her children, Trish built a garden that would later feed her community! Guided by Proverbs 11:25 which instructs believers to give, Trish shared her garden herbs’ medicinal properties with the ill, and her love for food and cooking with her overwhelmed colleagues. As the pandemic raged on, Trish found solace in preparing meals for those in need. Taking care of people in this way came more naturally than anything ever had before! And so, using homegrown herbs and roots from her family garden, Trish’s catering service, Garden to Guts, was born! Trish takes pride in nourishing and edifying those around her and does so with excellence! An educated Virgin Islander, God-fearing veteran, wife, mother, explorer and business owner; Trish’s ingredients combine to create a warm and gentle person with a heart for people!
What’s the flavor of Trish Soup? Love!
WELCOME TO MY GARDEN!
I’m Tricia, but many call me farmer nurse. You see, I’m a Registered nurse by trade, but a gardener by heart. At “Garden to Guts”, I grow food in our family’s garden, cook it, then bring it to a table near you. We focus on healthy eating, while providing nourishment at the same time. I also share my homemade recipes, gardening tips, and teach you how to grow your own food right in your own backyard. I encourage you to become your own grocery store, like I have done for my family and I. If I grow it, you can have it. So join me soil mates, let’s grow together!!!!
